Commercial Insurance Account Manager / Account Executive (Hybrid – Florida Residents Only)

RSI Advisors is seeking a motivated, growth‑minded Commercial Insurance Account Manager / Account Executive to manage a portfolio of middle‑market accounts while actively developing new business across Florida. This hybrid role is ideal for a rising insurance professional who wants to deepen account‑management expertise while continuing to expand a personal book of business.

What You’ll Do

Client Management & Renewal Execution:
- Manage day‑to‑day service needs for an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts.
- Conduct coverage reviews, risk assessments, and stewardship reporting to guide clients through evolving exposures.
- Lead renewal marketing: secure submissions, negotiate with carriers, compare terms, prepare proposals, and present recommendations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for questions, service needs, and claims escalations. New Business Development
- Build and expand a personal pipeline through networking, referrals, and centers of influence.
- Qualify prospects and develop tailored risk and coverage recommendations.
- Present and sell proposals to business owners, executives, and key decision‑makers.
- Cross‑sell complementary lines and introduce value‑added services to strengthen retention. Relationship Building
- Cultivate strong carrier partnerships to secure competitive terms and market insights.
- Collaborate with account associates, marketing, and leadership to ensure seamless service.
- Engage in industry groups, civic organizations, and local events to expand your professional presence.

Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate documentation, workflows, and timelines according to agency standards.
- Follow all compliance protocols, E&O best practices, and privacy/security procedures.
- Contribute to a positive team culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

Required:
- 2–10 years of Commercial P&C insurance experience.
- Active Florida 2‑20 General Lines License.
- Experience managing commercial accounts.
- Strong understanding of Commercial P&C coverages and carrier appetite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to work hybrid (remote + in‑state travel) within Florida.

Preferred:
- Experience with middle‑market or small commercial accounts across multiple industries.
- Prior exposure to new business development. Professional designations (CISR, CLCS, AINS, CPCU) are a plus.
